Public
A Notary is a public
officer appointed under authority of State Law who has power under the
relevant Notary Statute to administer an oath, to certify affidavits, to
take acknowledgements, depositions or sworn testimony, and to take
certain actions in some commercial transactions, such as the formal
protesting of negotiable instruments. Documents and signatures of the
Notary are authenticated by recognition of the Notary Seal.

Can my Notorial business be conducted via fax? |

No. In California, an appearance must be made before the
Notary Public. There are some offshore firms that do provide notary
services via fax, but we strongly recommend you avoid these services.
The National Notary Association has issued
an advisory detailing problems with these services.

No. We can not notarize documents that are incomplete or
containing blanks.
